Our paths crossed on Instagram. Naturally, I initiated a direct message conversation, and we embarked on a journey together. The only aspect that pained me was her residence in California. Over time, we both experienced heartbreak, played games, and alternated between being together and apart. However, I would not have had it any other way. During this period, we both matured and gained valuable life lessons, independent of each other.
One day, we mutually agreed that it was time to cease playing games, recognizing that time is relentless. For some inexplicable reason, we invariably found our way back to each other. Consequently, we embarked on a journey to strengthen our relationship, guided by our shared faith. It was as if we were rediscovering each other, falling in love once again, reminiscent of our childhood romance.
Many may question our understanding of love back then. However, who are you to deny us that knowledge? As our story continues on November 15th, I reached out to her mother, seeking her permission to make Derrina my wife. I was overjoyed when she granted my request. The following week, I purchased the engagement ring and set the stage for our future.
We scheduled a photoshoot for the 25th, and I saw no better opportunity than to propose during that moment. Naturally, she responded positively after repeated inquiries, affirming her seriousness.
Now, we eagerly anticipate entering a new chapter in our lives together, as one, by the divine grace. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our closest friends and family for their unwavering support and love. We sincerely hope that you will be present to witness our joyous celebration.
